The School of Evolutionary Herbalism is a globally recognized business with students in 50 countries across 6 continents and 150K followers.
Their primary revenue drivers are their paid educational courses, which combine video and written content. Additionally, they provide free educational resources like podcasts and blog posts to expand their reach. As the sole writer and editor, I developed and refined all educational product offerings.
I edited one of their most premium programs, priced at $2,600, and independently researched, wrote, and edited over 1,300 pages of educational content. Over 1,900 new students joined after taking over content development for one of their paid programs.
I maintained editorial consistency while expanding their content library and strengthened the company’s position as a leader in clinical herbalism education.
“Chamomile is a familiar plant with an unmistakable scent and flavor. It's one of the most popularly used and loved herbs stocked in people's cupboards.
Sipping on some Chamomile tea at the end of the day is a simple ritual, but its medicinal properties are much more complex than meets the eye.
By taking a deeper look into this plant, you can learn about the specific indications and unique properties that make this herb indispensable to the Western materia medica.”

As part of a free educational content series, I wrote blog posts focused on individual herbs. The series drove nearly 2,000 paid memberships by positioning the company as trustworthy and knowledgable.

Many customers discover this brand through Instagram and subscribe to their newsletter. This email series built trust, which increased user retention and sales.

This piece is part of an online paid subscription program offering 20+ pages of scientifically researched, cited, and accessible herbal education—researched, written, and compiled entirely by me. The Materia Medica Monthly series is a cornerstone of the company’s revenue strategy and a key driver of customer retention.
